AR User Manual
An AR User Manual that Guides the user through the product using Argumented reality making it easier for the user to navigate the product and eleminates the need of a physical book saving paper.

Problem
Physical product manuals are bulky, easily lost, and built on the flawed assumption that users read before they act. People interact with products spatially not textually and when confusion hits mid-task, no one reaches for a booklet. The result is damaged products, frustrated users, and mounting support costs, with millions of pages printed for a single read before landing in landfill.

Secondary Research - Studied existing manual formats, AR technology applications, and user behavior patterns around product onboarding
Primary Research - Interviewed users on pain points with physical manuals and mapped moments of confusion during product setup
Competitive Analysis - Audited existing AR manual solutions and identified gaps in accessibility, design quality, and contextual delivery
Problem Definition - Synthesized research into a focused problem statement centered on spatial vs. textual instruction mismatch
Ideation - Explored interaction models for AR overlay triggers, navigation flows, and hotspot behavior across product surfaces
User Flow Mapping - Designed the end-to-end journey from QR scan to task completion across setup, operation, and troubleshooting
Wireframing - Sketched low-fidelity screens for the AR interface, overlay states, and fallback flat-screen mode
Prototyping - Built mid-fidelity interactive prototype simulating AR overlay behavior on a test product
User Testing - Validated comprehension speed, navigation clarity, and task success rate against a physical manual control group
Visual Design - Developed final UI with AR overlay aesthetics, typography hierarchy, and brand-neutral component system
Outcome - Delivered a scalable AR manual framework applicable across product categories, with paper eliminated entirely
